Sandy Alexander Hugh Chisholm
April 13, 1953 – February 16, 2021
Sandy Alexander Hugh Chisholm It is with heavy hearts we announce his passing on Feb, 16/2021 at the age of 67. He was born in New Glasgow and raised in Heatherton, Antigonish County in Nova Scotia. The son of William (Bill) & Katherine (Kit) Chisholm (McCarron). He was an avid sports fan especially his favourite hockey team since his childhood the Chicago Blackhawks. He was a shipbuilder in the Halifax area where he spent most of his career at the Halifax Shipyard and worked as a Welder and Chargehand on many different types of marine vessels on many different projects in both ship repair and new construction builds. He had a love of good music, good food, good friends, good times, and he loved to laugh and make others laugh as well, but above all he Loved His Family more than anything on earth. Survived by his Wife Beulah Chisholm(Riggs), Son Matthew Chisholm, Step Daughters Marie Claire Safatly(Maurice) & Nadia Jreige(Rob), Grandchildren Gabriella, Elias, Adriana, Maria, & Mark. He is predeceased by his Mother Kit Chisholm, Father Bill Chisholm, Sisters Claire(Chisholm) Blackburn& Karen(Chisholm) Blackburn, Brothers Billy Chisholm & John Chisholm. Cremation has taken place and visitations will be held for all who wish to come on Feb, 26/2021, 2:00pm-4:00pm & 7:00pm-9:00pm at JA Snows Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Funeral Service by invitation only for in person attendance with a link on funeral home website for a virtual viewing of the church service and will be held on Feb, 27/2021, 11:00am at St. Mother Teresa of Kolkata Church (St. Stephens), 6032 Normandy Drive, Halifax, Nova Scotia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Dear Beulah & family, so sorry to hear about Sandy. Sandy was a neighbour in Heatherton where we lived. His brother Jackie frequented our farm in Black Avon which wasn't yesterday.Lots of memories.
