Scott Gerrard Forbes

Born to Christina (née Barr) of Belfast, IRE and James Forbes of Toronto, ON, Scott moved from Glasgow, SCO to Toronto, ON in 1967, and Halifax, NS in 2023. Scott is survived by his mother – “the bag lady” Christina, his father – “the old man” James (Linda), his brother Jim and cherished niece and nephew, Melody (Zachary) and Jamie. Scott is the proud husband of Beverley and father of Alyssa. He adored all of his family beyond words.

Scott will be remembered for his humor, thoughtful nature, and unwavering support for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Halifax Mooseheads.

A memorial service will be held on June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax NS, B3S 0E1. After the service we will head to Sou’Wester Restaurant, 178 Peggy’s Point Rd, Peggy’s Cove NS, B3Z 3S2 – one of Scott’s favourite places to go. Please let Bev and/or Alyssa know if you’d like to join for a maritime feast.
