Shawn Alexander Kenney

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Shawn Alexander Kenney, 37, on February 29th, 2016. Born in Ottawa, ON, Shawn leaves behind his father Brian, and stepmother Darlene Kenney (Halifax), mother Leigh, and stepfather Ira Bridger (Ottawa), daughter Cassidy Jardine (New Brunswick), siblings Amanda (Brad) Lutwick, (Ottawa), Nicole (Dana) Drake (Dartmouth) and Holly Roach (Vancouver). He will also be dearly missed by his aunts, uncles and many nieces. Shawn spent his early years as an air cadet, active skier and avid reader. He loved cooking, spending time with family and discussing politics. Shawn's favourite past time was gaming and working with computers. He furthered his education attending Community College in Miramichi, NB, taking computer programming. Most recently, Shawn worked in the technical support team with Blue Ocean Contact Center. Shawn lived a very private and quiet life, although he thoroughly enjoyed spending quality fun time with his nieces. Shawn will be fondly remembered by his co-workers, friends and family. Visitation to take place on Monday, March 7th, 2016 11am-1pm at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax. Funeral service and reception will follow in the JA Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
