Mr Steven Matthew Vigneault

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son Steven Matthew Vigneault, 30 years old of Fairview Halifax NS on September 8th 2014. Born in Kentville NS, on October 13th 1983. He was the son of Helen (Blackburn) and Francois Vigneault, Hatchet Lake NS. Besides his parents he is survived by his sister Melissa Laidlaw (Corey), special niece Caitlin and nephew Joseph, Lakeside NS. Stepbrother P.J. Richards (Kendra), Antigonish NS. Grandmother Isabelle Vigneault, Quebec and numerous uncles, aunts & cousins.

Steven loved the outdoors, drawing and playing his guitars and writing his own songs. He was a loving, caring and compassionate son who would do without himself to help others, even those he didn’t know. He will be sadly missed to all who knew him, especially his family; he will forever be in our hearts and memories.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with J.A. Snow’s Funeral Home on 339 Lacewood Dr. where a visitation will take place on Sunday, September 14th 2014 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, September 15th 2014 at Snow’s Funeral Chapel with Father Duncan officiating. Interment to follow after reception at Sunrise Cemetery in Hatchet Lake, Prospect Rd.

It has been requested by the family in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Phoenix House, SPCA or charity of your choice which were very dear to Steven’s heart.

Grand-mère Isabelle Vigneault , Québec et de nombreux oncles, tantes et cousins, cousines.

Steven aimait le plein air , le dessin et de jouer avec ses guitares et écrire ses propres chansons. Il était un fils aimant, attentionné et compatissant qui faisait tout pour aider les autres, même ceux qu'il ne connaissait pas. Il laisse dans le deuil un souvenir à tous ceux qui l'ont connu , en particulier sa famille. Il sera toujours dans nos cœurs et nos mémoires.

Les arrangements funéraires ont été confiés à la Maison funéraire Snow sur 339 Lacewood Dr Clayton Park. Les visites auront lieu le 14 Septembre 2014 de 2 à 4 et 7 à 9 heures. à la Maison funéraire Snow. Le service aura lieu à 11 heures le 15 Septembre 2014, à la chapelle funéraire de Snow avec le père Duncan MacMaster officiant. L'inhumation à suivre après la réception au Cimetière Sunrise à Hatchet Lake , Prospect Rd.

Il a été demandé par la famille au lieu de fleurs, des dons peuvent être faits à Phoenix House, SPCA ou de charité de votre choix qui étaient très chers au cœur de Steven.
