OBITUARY

Sylvia "Annie" Ann MOULTON

November 11, 1925March 15, 2020

With shattered hearts, we announce the passing of Sylvia Ann Moulton (Annie), on March 15, 2020 at the age of 94. She was born to Stephen and Tryphenia (Anstey) on November 11, 1925 in Frenchmen’s Cove, Newfoundland and married her husband, Charles Aaron Moulton on March 18, 1945, enjoying 49 years of marriage together.

Annie is survived by five of her children: Maxwell (Lynn) Moulton; Keith (Kathy) Moulton; Donna (Jean-Marc) Guillamot; Sherry (Cyril) Caines; and Ruth (Douglas) Rogers. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, who always brought a smile to her face.

Annie retired from working at Sears Canada and spent many happy years singing in her church choir. She was always ready for a game of cards, a family gathering or solving her daily cryptoquote.

Annie’s greatest achievement was her ability to make friends, whom she kept for many years. She made friends everywhere she went: from her childhood in Newfoundland, work, church, social club, Florida and her retirement home. Her many nieces, nephews and cousins were always very close to her heart.

Annie was predeceased by her husband, Charles; her son Lloyd (in infancy); and her two beloved sisters, Cludie Moulton and Essie LeBlanc.

The family wishes to give special thanks to the wonderful and professional medical staff at the QEII, 7.4, for their wonderful care and support. Their compassion and kindness were much appreciated.

Visitation and funeral to be announced at a later date. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

Max, my condolences on the death of your mother. From what I read in her obituary and your descriptions of her to us through the years, she was a vibrant and unique lady. You were so very fortunate to have her in your life for so many years, and she was likewise fortunate to be the beneficiary of your love and devotion.

Fred and I are thinking of you....Suzan

Max
Suzan and I were saddened to hear of your mother's passing. That you had her in your life for so many years is a blessing, but that fact often augments rather than reduces the sense of loss. The obit. describes an accomplished life that you shared and were the product of. We know that she would have been proud of you and your many achievements, including the accomplished grandchildren that you gave her .Our thoughts are with you .

Dear Keith and family,
I have many great memories of Annie, your Mom, and your Dad, Charlie. They were great friends of my Mom, Doreen, and my Dad, Eric. I remember both of them fondly! My family has always had the utmost respect for your Mom and Dad. Your Mom was a very special, kind, and sweet lady with a contagious smile that made you want to smile back. She loved her family dearly and she will be terribly missed.
I can speak for my brothers and sister that we are offering our sincere condolences to all of you.
Thank you Keith for always stopping by to visit our Dad!

I am thinking of you all at this very difficult time. Your mom and dad were always so good to me, your mom always put a smile on my face. She had so many awesome stories to tell.
