With shattered hearts, we announce the passing of Sylvia Ann Moulton (Annie), on March 15, 2020 at the age of 94. She was born to Stephen and Tryphenia (Anstey) on November 11, 1925 in Frenchmen’s Cove, Newfoundland and married her husband, Charles Aaron Moulton on March 18, 1945, enjoying 49 years of marriage together.
Annie is survived by five of her children: Maxwell (Lynn) Moulton; Keith (Kathy) Moulton; Donna (Jean-Marc) Guillamot; Sherry (Cyril) Caines; and Ruth (Douglas) Rogers. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, who always brought a smile to her face.
Annie retired from working at Sears Canada and spent many happy years singing in her church choir. She was always ready for a game of cards, a family gathering or solving her daily cryptoquote.
Annie’s greatest achievement was her ability to make friends, whom she kept for many years. She made friends everywhere she went: from her childhood in Newfoundland, work, church, social club, Florida and her retirement home. Her many nieces, nephews and cousins were always very close to her heart.
Annie was predeceased by her husband, Charles; her son Lloyd (in infancy); and her two beloved sisters, Cludie Moulton and Essie LeBlanc.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the wonderful and professional medical staff at the QEII, 7.4, for their wonderful care and support. Their compassion and kindness were much appreciated.
Visitation and funeral to be announced at a later date. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
