Theresa Sampson

Mary Therese "Theresa" Sampson, age 61 of Halifax, passed away October 1, 2018 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Ambrose and Teresa Sampson. Theresa worked at MT&T/Bell Aliant for 30 years before retiring in 2005. She enjoyed spending quality time with her nieces and nephews. She loved cuddling with her cats, reading and watching her soap operas and enjoyed going on trips down to the cottage and driving around the Cabot Trail.

Survived by her mother, Teresa; sisters, Margaret and Cecilia (Todd); brothers Charles, Michael (Vera), Paul (Cathy) and Patrick (Kathy); nieces and nephews Devyn, Marissa, Vaughan, Monica, Nicholas and Nahuel; as well as many cousins.

Predeceased by her father, Ambrose; and brothers, Peter and Joseph (in infancy).

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2018, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 at J.A. Snow Funeral Home. Service to be held Thursday October 4 at 10:30 am at Saint Benedict Church, Father Alex Colautti officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at the Halifax Infirmary as well as the Victorian Order of Nurses.
