Beloved Tom passed away on May 6, 2017. He was the only child of Thomas R. and Maud (Silver) Malloy. Tom was born and grew up in the North end, attending Alexander Mackay and St. Mary’s College High School. He retired from CNR in 1987 after 40 years of service. Upon retirement he and his wife Mary, travelled throughout the United States for a number of years. Upon returning home to Halifax, Tom worked at the Metro Centre at a job he loved as an usher for 20 years. Survived by his wife Mary; cousins Dorothy West and Sister Agnes Paula. A special thank you to Northwood Assisted Living Staff and Melville Lodge for the care and compassion given to Tom. Special thanks to Dr. Meehan and Dr. Somers for looking after Tom. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday May 13, 2017 at 2:00 at JA Snow Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
