Warren Theodore Jennings

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of a wonderful father and husband. Warren passed away peacefully in Northwood Ivany surrounded by loved ones. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Gordon and Elva (Lohnes) Jennings.

He is survived by his daughter Carol Anne (Keith Barker) and predeceased by his wife Carolyn. Warren worked most of his career (32 years) as an accountant for the Provincial Government, Dept of Finance. Warren enjoyed life and retirement to the fullest. He spent summers at the Waegwoltic Club swimming and relaxing with his family. He loved singing, reading, cooking, walks in the park, doing income tax for his friends and family and fish chowder at the Esquire on Fridays. Warren had a beautiful spirit; he was a kind and gentle soul. His trademark smile and bright eyes could light up a room. He had a great sense of humour. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, but no one will miss him more than his little girl.

Celebration of life will be held at on at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, Lacewood Dr., Halifax. Cremation has taken place. Special thanks to staff at Blueberry Hills, Ivany Place and dear friends Beatrice and Lorna.
