Mrs. Melvin and family,
I was sorry to read of Mr. Melvin's passing the other day in the paper. I met him in 1987 when I went to work at Harbour City Homes a company that he and his wife rented from. Over the years I looked forward to his visits to the office on rent days and the conversations we would have, he did most of the talking. What I remember most is him telling me about how much he liked to dance and one the his favorite songs to dance to was "Flip, Flop and Fly". Thirty years later and after I had retired whenever I heard that song I would think of him and smile and would often wonder how he was doing. Mr. Melvin was funny, kind and a great family man who will be greatly missed. Please accept my sincere condolences. Praying that God gives you comfort and strength in the days ahead . Hold on to all the great memories that you have of him.

Mr. & Mrs. Melvin were neighbors when I was young and they were always so kind. Haven't seen them in a long-time but I've often thought about them. Whenever I bumped into Mr. Melvin he was always happy and smiling. He was a true gem. May you rest in peace Mr. Melvin 💙

Very saddened to read of Billy's passing. Like myself, he liked to dance, and met him from time to time at Scotia Branch.
My prayers and sympathy extended to his family members and siblings. From my cousins (his siblings) I only got to know
Frankie as well as Shirley and Joan of my own age group and
I extend special thoughts and prayers to them.
May Billy rest in peace.

45 yrs ago i met Bill (Be), he was such a wonderful person and became my father in law. He loved a beer, and to play cards but as i think back i can laugh at how many decks of cards he ripped up or threw. He could make me laugh and was a friend to everyone. I am so happy i got to see him at Christmas time
Rest easy, til we meet again
