Winnifred "Winnie" Martina Day

Winnifred “Winnie” Martina Day, age 91 of Dartmouth, NS passed away on January 16, 2022 in Parkland at the Lakes, Glasgow Hall. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the Late Gerald M. and Emily (Shiers) Day. Winnie is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she is predeceased by her sisters, Catherine Horne, Margaret (Peggy) Finck, brother, Gerald Day Jr., four nieces and one nephew. A graveside service was held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville on January 21, 2022, Deacon Tom Smith officiated. To Winnies surrogate nursing home family, a heartfelt thank-you for all your care, love and kindness towards Winnie.
