Born in New Waterford, Cape Breton, NS, she was the daughter of Joseph Chiasson and Katherine Boudreau.
Born and raised with values rooted in family and care, Yvette spent her adult life in Cheticamp with her husband, Wilfred, where they built a home and raised four children. By choice, she devoted her life to her family, finding purpose in caring for others and in the quiet rhythms of daily life rather than public recognition or acclaim.
After Wilfred’s passing, she moved to Bedford, where she remained until her death, continuing to live with humility, resilience, and deep devotion to her family. Dependable and selfless, she anchored a home and quietly shaped the lives of those she loved.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, grandchildren and all who were touched by her quiet strength. Her legacy lives on in the family she built and the values she lived by - proof that a life devoted to others is never a small one.
