Alma Sue Simmons

Alma Sue Simmons age 71 of Hamilton, Tx passed away at her home on Dec. 25, 2013. Visitation services were held on Dec. 29,2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Riley Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Dec. 30, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton, TX. Ms. Simmons was born in Mesa, AZ. to Geneva A. Moore and Edward Simmons. Alma retired from the State of Texas as a correctional Officer at the Crain Unit in Gatesville, TX and previously as a child care provider in Hamilton, Texas. Ms. Simmons collected angels, enjoyed her plants and loved her family very much.

She is survived by her sister Jerri Cowan of Phoenix, AX., three daughters; Tammy Harmon & husband Troy of Albuquerque, NM, Nola Campbell of Hamilton, TX, Elizabeth Thiele & husband Edwin of Gatesville, TX, one son, Gerald Ramirez & partner John of Arlington, TX, and one cat.
