Arthur J. Bubert, 89, of Shive, Tx. passed Wednesday, May 15 at a local hospital. Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 18 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Shive. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 17 at Riley Funeral Home in Hamilton. Burial will be in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Arthur was born November 30, 1923 to the late Frank Henry & Rosene Bubert in Shive, Texas. He married Vivian Baker on November 29, 1948 in Hamilton, Tx. Arthur was a lifelong resident of Hamilton County and a very devoted husband & father. He loved his family and his farm. He was happy if he could help someone and make them smile. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He will be greatly missed by everyone. He is survived by his wife Vivian Bubert of Hamilton. One son; Jerry Bubert & fiancé' Carol of Stephenville. Three grandchildren; Shannon Hutchins, Jason Bubert & Jessica Bubert.
