Betty Jo Barnett

Betty Barnett, age 83 of Hamilton went home to be with the Lord on December 28, 2013. Funeral services are being held on January 3, 2014 at the Riley Funeral Home with pastor Andrew Sobities officiating. Eulogy will be given by grandson Brandon Barnett. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Barnett was born in Hamilton on June 14, 1930 the daughter of Clyde and Hattie Taylor. She was married to Erwin Barnett on February26, 1947. She grew up in Hamilton and later moved to Arlington for 30 years before returning home in 1992.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Hattie Taylor, her husband Erwin W Barnett, and sisters Merle McKinney and Bonnie Finney.

Survivors include her daughter Linda Dunn of California, Danny and wife Linda Barnett of Grand Prairie; her grandchildren Cameron and Jeremy Duvall, Brandon and Brandon and Crystal Barnett, Brian and Tiffany Barnett, Brittany and Roland Clarke and great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and in laws.

Pallbearers are Brandon Barnett, Brian Barnett, Chad Byler, Dean Byler, Craig Hurt and Mike Phillips.
