Brenda Kay (smith) Gatmen age 65 received her wings on June 10th 2020 at home with family by her side. Brenda was born in Morenci, Arizona on July 20th 1954 to Milton Smith and Joyce (Burns) Smith. Brenda spent her childhood and most of her adult life around the Evant and Hamilton area and later moving to the Ft. worth area. Brenda later went on a grand adventure spending some of her last years in Alaska before returning to Texas. Brenda spent her life caring for others as a caregiver to the elderly and disabled, owning a residential home in Arlington texas and just trying to give out to the people around her.
Brenda is survived by her three children, Michelle Gray of Hamilton, Charles Gray of Grandbury, Amanda Easterling and husband Daryl of Alaska. Brenda has nine grandchildren, Addie, Jazmine, Brendan, Bridget, Emily, Candace, Lilly, Sadie, Aubry along with two great grandchildren, Mealanie and Ziliah. Brenda is also survived by two sisters, Joy Clark and husband Garry of Burleson, Reenie Clary and husband Tim of Evant, several neices and nephews. Brenda is preceded in death by both parents, her brother Glenn Smith, one sister Lisa Buster, one grandaughter and several other close family members. Brenda was dearly loved and will forever be missed by her family and friends. The generosity and willingness she had will never be fogotten.
