Daniel (Frank) Franklin Hinton 71, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024 in his home after a hard fought battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Riley Funeral Home.
Frank was born in Waxahachie on April 19, 1953, the second child of Rufus Franklin and Edna Lucille Daniel Hinton. He graduated from Mansfield High School in 1971. After graduation, Frank began his career as a road inspector at the Texas Highway Department. He retired in 2001. After retirement his hobbies were farming, working his livestock and spending time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Vicki; son Robert and daughter in law Kim; grandchildren Trevor Hinton and Jenna Catoe and husband Shane. Sister Mary Hinton Bass and husband J. O.; nephew James Bass and wife Lori and children. In lieu of flowers the family ask that you please donate to your favorite charity.
