Doris Lorain Donald

Doris was born to Alvie and Audrey Andrews, who preceded her in death, the fifth child of sixteen children.

At 14 years old, she met and married the love of her life, Gilbert Donald and together they started a 63 year life together, a family of three. Gilbert and Doris dedicated their life to leading people to Christ and were the pastors of the Victory Christian Fellowship Church from 1965 until present.

A celebration of Doris’ life was held at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 10 A.M. with interment at the Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Alvie and Audrey (Blackwell) Andrews, a grandson: Eric Donald, four brothers: Eddie, Bert, Marvin and Dalton Andrews; two sisters: Audrey Meade and Ruth Jones.

Doris is survived by her husband Gilbert Donald of Hamilton, daughter Doris Jean McFarlin of Stephenville, Gary Donald and wife Judy of Navasota, Texas and Shana Campbell and husband Brit of Hico. Grandchildren: Gary Shane, Angie, Kevin, Tracy, Derek, Nikki, Alex, Lance, Hallie, Eric and John, great grandchildren: Justin, Kaylie, Jacob, Destiny, Charity, Melanie, Courtney, Morgan, Julia, Cameron, Morgan, Erica and Luke.
