Doris Irene (Lunsford) Garrett

Doris I. Lunsford Garrett, born May 27, 1940, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at the age of 86 following a lengthy illness.

Doris was preceded in death by loved ones and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Charles W. Garrett and her two sons; Larry G. Sharp and wife; Carol of Abilene, Charles K. (Chuck) Sharp and wife; Misti of Burleson . Doris also leaves behind four stepchildren: Connie Garrett and Carmen Garrett both of Hamilton, Cindy Garrett of Harlingen and Clayton Garrett and wife; Brenda of Sheffield, Alabama. She also is survived by her sister, Arlene Brown of Oklahoma, and her brother, Kenneth Lunsford of Dublin, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Doris will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
