Dorothy D Kennedy

Dorothy D. Adair Kennedy, age 86, of Lamkin, Texas passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Hamilton General Hospital. Funeral Services were held Monday, April 16, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Gustine with Reverend Zack Harrell officiating. Burial followed at Toliver Cemetery in Lamkin, Texas.

Dorothy-Mother-Grandma-Great-Grandma was born May 6, 1925 on a ranch in Montell, Texas. She Graduated from Rocksprings High School in 1943. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gustine, Texas. God, family and the Rancho Not so Grande, were dear to her heart. She loved the tranquility of country living. Her other interest were moral character and respectability, she was a friend of many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe D. and Erie Love Cloudt, sisters Erie Nell Luce and Clara Bell Wallace, and her loving husband of 31 years, Charles Joe Adair and her recent husband Bobby Kennedy.

She is survived by daughter Shirley Fasel and her husband Jerry of Austin, Texas; daughter Dee Middleton and her husband Mike of Lamkin, Texas and son Lee McCullough of Lamkin, Texas. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral arrangements for Ms .Kennedy were entrusted to Riley Funeral Home of Hamilton.
