Drucilla Correan Williams, 99, died, Monday, June 11, 2018 in Hamilton. Services will be held Thursday, June 14, in the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Segit officiating. Burial will follow in Little Cowhouse Cemetery in Hamilton County.
Mrs. Williams was born May 8, 1919, in Hamilton, the daughter of Richard Hiram and Edna Pearl Sayles Stanford. She had lived all of her life in Hamilton County where she was a homemaker, farmer and rancher. She was a member of Lanham Methodist Church. She was married to Edgar Mack "Ed" Williams on Sept. 18, 1946, in Stephenville. Drucilla was preceded in death by her beloved husband on February 20, 1999, her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Cathey Abel and husband Larry W. Sr, of Quemado, NM and Jane Mentzer and husband Russ of Hamilton; two grandchildren, Jim Edward Jones and wife Shana of Elmott and Catheryn Anne Jones of Garland; one great granddaughter, Alyssa Anne Jones of Elmott and a sister, Jean Gordon of Baird.
Pallbearers: are Jerry Stanford, Bryan Sleeper, Howard Gordon, Calvin Sleeper, Stuart Bell, and Bart Thompson. Honorary pallbearers are W.H. Sleeper, Don Morgan, Maxie Gordon and Joe Stanford.
