Forrest H. Waddill, veteran of the US Navy Seabees, age 104 of Conroe, Texas, originally of Star,Texas, Son of Albert and Lillian Waddill passed away on October 3, 2026. He was born on December 18, 1921 in Edgewood, Texas. He was proud to have served in the Pacific Theater of World War II. Forrest spent most of his adult life in Midland, Texas, painting houses. In retirement he travelled to 44 States and Canada and collected rocks. He later lived for seven years live in Galveston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his first wife Ann Manuel Waddill of Goldthwaite, Texas and second wife Christine Riggs Waddill of Midland, Texas. He is survived by two daughters Lisa Ledbetter of Pasadena, Texas (husband Ronald) and Sharon Sanchez of Conroe, Texas, three step-children Dale Riggs of Midland, Texas (wife Janie), Anita Starritt of Marble Falls,Texas (husband Billy), and Connie Flewellyn of Lubbock,Texas. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and many great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Riley Funeral Home, 402 W Main, Hamilton, Texas 76531, on October 8, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Private Family Interment will take place at Hurst Ranch Cemetery, Cr 533, Evant, TX, on October 8, 2026.
