He was born in Burnet, Texas to the late Domingo and the late Maria Moreno Hernandez on November 8, 1956. He married the love of his life Susie Leal on February 14, 1976. George was a kind and giving soul that never met a stranger. George was of the Catholic faith and you could find him giving his time whenever the church need volunteers for anything. Throughout his life he was a farmer and you could find him working pecan orchards and peanut fields. People in town will always remember him for his produce stand, particularly his watermelon and cantaloupe. George did what he loved to do to provide for his family. He was a dedicated hard worker but, it was never work to him. Outside of work, George enjoyed fishing and cooking out with friends and family. He had a huge heart and loved to put a smile on your face. Most important to George was his love for his family. There was nothing he would not do for his family. He was their protector, provider and friend. George was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. There will be an emptiness without his infectious smile. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
