Work was no stranger to Ima; she was employed by Harlik’s for thirty-eight years. During those years, Ima was a sales clerk and also preformed alterations. When not working at Harlik’s you could find Ima at her sewing machine making formals, wedding dresses, and much more. After Harlik’s closed Ima and U.G. spent time traveling until U.G passed in 1993.
Ima was very active in Fairview Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and Song Leader for many years. In 2016, Ima moved her membership from Fairview Baptist to the First Baptist Church of Hamilton where she flourished as a member. Ima never met a stranger and always greeted everyone with a smile and a hug and she lived her life to honor God and her Family. Ima will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
