

James McKinley (Billy) Lamb died May 29, 2011 at Hamilton Healthcare. Funeral services will be held June 1, 2011 at Riley Funeral Home with Herman Lanmon Jr. officiating. Burial will be June 2 at Grandview Memorial Park in Pasadena Texas.
He was born April 17, 1926 in Pasadena Texas the son of William McKinley and Gladys Lamb.
He was married to Betty Lou James in 1946. He was a veteran of WWII, having served in the Navy. He also worked as a welder and a rancher.
For much of his life he enjoyed rodeos and roped as long as he could get on and off a horse. He loved his family and enjoyed eating out. He was a giving man and enjoyed helping others. He was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and served as a deacon.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Lou his parents William McKinley and Gladys Mae.
Survivors include his Sons Barry Lamb and wife Nicki and Billy Mack Lamb both of Hamilton, his grandchildren Landon, Benjamin, William, Jay, David, and Brady great-grandchildren Dalyn and Dezlyn.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Landon, Benjamin, William, Jay, David, and Brady.
