

Johnnie Fredrick Johnson was born June 14, 1930 in DePew, OK.
Johnnie, who preferred to be called John, lived with his longtime soul mate and wife, Janice for 36 years. Together they had 1 son, David Lynn Johnson, who preceded him in death.
He served our country in the United States Army Air Force.
He loved helping people and hunting, fishing and just being outdoors. He loved tinkering with all sorts of mechanical equipment with iron in his blood, so with no surprise he took up with more equipment and farming. John and Janice attracted kids and people like a magnets.
John and Janice retired and moved to Hamilton in 1992 from Keller, Texas where he owned and operated a backhoe service company for 14 years.
John is survived by his wife Janice of Hamilton; daughter-in-law, Sherry Dyson; Granddaughters: Lana Gail Smiley and her husband, John of Ennis, Texas; Samantha Krol and her husband, Kevin of Bedford, Texas; Great-Grandsons Tyler, Troy, Coy and Tanner; Great grandchildren Felicia, Raven, Larry, Linda and Larry of Rockwall, Texas.
Brothers Pete Pate and wife, Nita Jean of Belton, Texas; Rick Pate of Weatherford, Texas; sisters Patty White and husband, Leroy of Edmund, Oklahoma; Karen Beecher and husband, Buddy of Yates Center, Kansas; Nita Aldridge of Tyler, Texas; Emma Lou Jaramillo of Arizona and Brother-in-law Al Maier and wife Melanie of Ponsford, Minnesota. Shad Maier and family of Fargo, North Dakota; and a God-son Ricky Brown of Rowlett, Texas.
