Juanetha Fay Yeakel

She was born July 12, 1924 in Hamilton, TX. She met and married Howard Yeakel on August 3, 1966. She was a devoted wife to Howard and they enjoyed a long and happy life together and were inseparable for 57 years until his passing in 2023. She was a long-time top selling realtor for Ebby Halliday for many years and retired and helped take care of her mother. She enjoyed traveling and shopping for antiques as well as running her antique business for many years after her retirement from real estate. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and especially enjoyed spoiling her great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ireta Hiller, brothers Walter Jr., Gerald Hiller and Roy J Hiller, as well as her two children, Ronny Gage and Cindy Traylor.

She leaves behind her sister, Doris Franklin, daughter-in-law, Sue Gage, grandson, Clint Gage and wife Teri, granddaughter, Amy Slagle and husband Dan, grandson, Steven King and wife Shannon, and grandson, Eric King, along with many great grandchildren- Collin, Tyler, Conner, Steven, Jackson, Avery, Avone, Aaron, and Angel and two great-great grandsons, Lonzo and Bennett along with many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Riley Funeral Home, 402 W. Main Street, Hamilton, TX at 11am. Graveside to follow at Pecan Wells Cemetery.
