

Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James Bartlett; parents Hannah and James Merida; and brother, Harry Merida. Survived by sisters Lois Sheriff of Perryton, Texas, and Dorothy Klemmedson of Green Valley, California; daughters "Babs" Bartlett of Carbondale, Colorado, and Patt Bartlett of Washington, Texas; grandchildren Kevin Holeman of Lewisville, Texas, Holly Tullar of Aspen, Colorado, Ashley Adams of Austin, Texas, and Aaron Moore of Hutto, Texas; and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bartlett's greatest joy in life was visiting with her many friends and family. For 23years she and James owned and operated Bartlett Feed Store in Childress, Texas, where they were active in the First Baptist Church and enjoyed a wide circle of friends. Juanita was a terrific cook and an avid reader. She enjoyed gospel music and was a supporter of her favorite charities. A dynamic force in the lives of her family, Juanita will be greatly missed.
