Karl Gene Boatwright

Graveside services will be held at Cottage Hill Cemetery Tuesday November 16th 2021 at 2 p.m.

Karl was born Dec. 17th, 1954 in Hico, TX to Troy and Lena Boatwright. He graduated from McGregor High School in 1973 and Tarleton State University in 1978.

Karl married Stacy (Lee) Boatwright October 28, 1978 in Hamilton TX. Karl and Stacy had three children Jeremy, Clayton, and Melissa. They resided in Hamilton County for many years.

Karl retired from Coca-Cola in 2015. He also worked for 16 years at Hercules in McGregor, TX. He made many fond memories and lifelong friends at these companies.

Karl enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He liked to play golf at Perry Country Club and going on hunting trips. He loved most to be at The Place with family.

Karl was proceeded in death by his father Troy, mother Lena, brother Kenneth, and two baby brothers.

He is survived by his wife Stacy, and his three children, Jeremy and Bren Boatwright, Clayton Boatwright, Melissa and Joseph Schraeder. He was Grandhaw to, Baily, Lanie, Bethany, Morgan, Logan, Levan, and Mia. Siblings Jim (Peggy) and Patti (Randy). Numerous nieces and nephews whom he had great love for.
