She was an honor graduate of Hamilton High School and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Tarleton State University. Later she went on to receive her ADN from Central Texas College and became an ER nurse as well as a traveling nurse. She was a passionate care giver to many people and animals. Kimberly touched the lives of many people as a nurse and a friend. She deeply loved her family, especially her nephew Cooper and niece Brooklyn.
Kimberly loved spending time with her mother, they were inseparable from day one. Kimberly liked to play golf in her younger years and loved to write. She was an extremely loyal friend, daughter, sister, aunt, and so much more. Kimberly was into fashion and could customize any shirt or pair of jeans to her liking. She learned how to sew at an early age thanks to her Memaw, whom she loved dearly. She spent a lot of time quilting and working in the garden with her. She was an excellent cook and could also make a mean cheesecake. Kimberly loved to shop, most of which was online. With her passing Amazon and UPS will surely feel the loss.
She had many cats, and a dog named Lila she loved. Kimberly was always there if you needed her and usually worried more about everyone else even in her times of struggle. Kimberly was Baptized at Pottsville Baptist church in her mid 20’s and loved the Lord.
She is preceded in death by grandparents Winford and Maggie Gardner, Jean Blackwell and Aunt Karol Brumbalow.
She is survived by parents Randy and Karla Gardner, brother Aaron Gardner, nephew Cooper Gardner and niece Brooklyn Gardner, and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends to cherish her memory.
A visitation for Kimberly will be held Friday, August 15, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riley Funeral Home Inc., 402 West Main, Hamilton, TX 76531. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, 220 S Bell St, Hamilton, TX 76531. A committal service will occur Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Shive Cemetery, Fm 221, Shive, TX 76531.
