Lillian "Lillie" Fern Gilland passed on August 16, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on November 8, 1940, in Maysville, Oklahoma, Lillie was the daughter of Howard Coody and Dessie Juanita Brooks, both of whom are deceased.

Lillie is survived by a sister, Cindy Murdoch, and two daughters, Deb Woodall and Patti Harless. Lillian also leaves behind eight grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Rest Land Cemetery, 2116 Waco Street, Gatesville, TX, on August 25, 2026, at 9:00 am.
