With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Louella Marie Garza, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 71.
Born on January 25, 1954, Louella was known for her gentle spirit, her warm heart, and her unwavering love for her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ricardo Garza, and her son, “Little Ricky.”
She is survived by her children: Pam Norwood, Marcus Barnett, Sarah Hoose, Nicole Johns, and Dylan Garza. Louella’s love and legacy continue through her 13 grandchildren and 11 (possibly 13) great-grandchildren, all of whom were the light of her life.
Louella is also survived by her siblings: Sheldon, Gretchen, Lorraine, Audrey, Charlotte, Bradly and Walter, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and unbreakable bonds.
A woman of creativity and care, Louella found joy in crocheting beautiful doilies and gifting her handmade creations to those she loved. Her greatest pride, however, was her family. She loved fiercely, gave selflessly, and left a lasting imprint on the hearts of everyone blessed to know her.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
