Margot Diane (Shaper) Pate

Margot Diane Shaper - Pate of Houston, Texas, passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 65. She was born on December 20, 1960, at James Connally Airforce Base in Waco, Texas to her loving parents, James Reginald Shaper and Diane Kennedy Shaper.

Margot was known to many as outgoing, independent and courageous. She had a gift of remembering every single birthday, an amazing green thumb and deep love for Jesus Christ. Not only could her humor light up a room, but her laugh would also ignite it. Her strong love for Christ and her family will be remembered.

Her spirit lives on through her family. Margot Diane Pate is survived by her children, Christopher Alan Hankins || and Melissa Diane Consford. Her Granddaughter’s Bryce Ashton Hankins, Alexis McKenzie Hankins and Margot Claire Wehrle and Great Granddaughter Charlie Mae White. Her Sisters, Tammy Hillhouse, Meggan Rambo, Monica Barret, Courtney Bloom and Molly Gilbert.
