Ramona Lopez or “Momo,” 72, was born April 27, 1945 in Oglesby, TX to the late Frank and Mary Galindo. Momo passed away peacefully, Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Providence Hospital in Waco, TX following a short illness.
Services were held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Riley Funeral Home with a burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
Momo was a faithful member of Victory Christian fellowship for 40 years. She was a devoted daughter of Christ, who prayed faithfully for her children, grandkids, and all members of her family.
Momo touched many lives and was loved by all. She loved being up to date with social media and was always sharing her love with family and friends through Facebook. She asked that her life be celebrated with love and laughter instead of sorrow and sadness.
Momo is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Galindo; her favorite son, Danny G. Lopez Sr.; and her granddaughter, Ramona Mae Lopez.
Momo is survived by three sons, Ramon Lopez, Gabriel Lopez and wife, Mira, and Timothy Lopez; daughter Michell Doolin; daughter-in-law, Tarifa Lopez; grandchildren, Danny G. Lopez Jr., Alicha Marie Hurst, Arthur Ramon Lopez, Rachel Lynn Wilson, Carlee Tanae Lopez, Danny James Lopez, and Anthony Jordan Lopez; great-grandchildren, Danny G. Lopez III, Ryan Lopez, Paislee Grace Wilson, and Emma Mae Wilson; three sisters, Tina Flores, Annie Gonzalez, and Frances Galindo; four brothers, John, Frank, Mike, and Rudy Galindo; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Ricky Martinez, Randy Galindo, Alex Flores, Arthur Galindo, Mark Flores, Ramon Mendez, Steven Mendez, Daniel Galindo, Anthony Gonzalez, and Jesse Trevino.
Arrangements under the direction of Riley Funeral Home, Hamilton, Texas.
