
Rex Dee Robinson was born on Septermber 15, 1942. He passed away at home on the Robinson Family Farm and Ranch that he loved so much on Friday, February 8, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Rex B. Robinson, and his mother, Gerogia M. Robinson. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Larine and Bob Guest; his brother, Jerry Robinson; four nephews, Austin Guest, Corbett Guest, Jerrod Robinson and Adam Robinson. He is also survived by his great-niece and nephews; Gabriella, Beckum, Elijah and Fenimore Guest. Rex Dee worked as an insurance adjustor in the Dallas Metroplex for 30 years. During this time, he loved and took great pride in working with his nephews showing sheep and raising livestock on his brother Jerry's farm in Ellis County. He was known for his love of horses, classic country music and Western culture. He was loved by his entire family, especially his nephews who all looked up to him and admired his rugged nature and wonderful storytelling. More recently, he began delivering prescriptions to the sick and elderly for Jordan's pharmacy. Many of his patients, friends and neighbors looked forward to his smile and conversation. He will be missed by all. Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 10 at Riley Funeral Home with Marvin Andrews officiating. Burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery.
