Sandra Jane went to her eternal rest on July 24, 2010 at Harris Hospital in Fort Worth after complications of a stroke she suffered in April. Sandy as she was known was born and was raised in Fort Worth where she met her beloved husband of 35 years James Henry Townsend. After which they moved and made their home in Tolar Texas where she had taken ill.
Sandy will be remembered as a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Sandy leaves behind her husband, James Henry Townsend, her daughter Ruth Ann Fiebig and husband Joe of Holland Texas, her son Arthur Scott Brown and wife Melissa of Holland Texas. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, two sisters Patricia Freeman of Arlington and Connie Monroe and husband Russell of Kaufman Texas. An extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws that will all miss her dearly.
