Stacy was born in Fort Worth to Reta Joyce Bogan and Charles Mathews. He attended school and spent most of his time in the Burleson/Fort Worth area. His greatest joy in life was being a father and grandfather. He was well known for being able to fix just about anything, his love for nature and being an empathetic listener. He was always ready to help at a moments notice, and his memory will forever be cherished by those who knew him. Stacy is survived by his mother Reta Joyce Land, his daughter Jenny Anne Mathews, 2 grandsons Brady and Sam Conway, brothers Micheal Mathews and Paul Land, sister Joyce Pettigrew and neice Michelle Mathews, as well as many uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Charles. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date for close family and friends.
