Stella Taylor was born May 4, 1941, in Hamilton, Texas, to William Cecil and Vera Mae (Blodgett) Donahoo.
She attended 12 years of school in Hamilton and graduated in 1959. She married Kenneth Taylor after graduation in June of 1959. They moved to Dallas where Kenneth was in the fire department. They moved back to Hamilton in the summer of 1972. They had three children Bill, Darla and Mark.

She was a Christian by faith and loved her Lord. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hamilton. She along with her husband served on the North American Mission Board for 15 years and travelled across the United States spreading the gospel. She also clowned as “LuLu” with her husband “Jingles” as missionaries. They travelled to Hungary and attended the Olympics in Utah doing their mission work.
After retiring, they spent half their time in Creede, Colorado where she loved the beauty of the outdoors and all the flowers. She loved ice cream and as such would travel to the San Juan Soda Shop in Lake City at least once while there in Colorado. She loved spending time with her children, grand-children, and great grand-children and would often attend their band, sports or school events.
