Steven Benedetti

A Memorial Service was held Monday, October 12, 2015 10:30 AM at St. John Lutheran Church.

Steven was born September 7, 1943 in Weymouth, Massachusetts to Parents Raymond and Arlene Fitzgerald Benedetti.

Steven married Barbara Gallagher January 11, 1964 in Brooklyn, New York. Barbara passed away February 20, 2011 and they had a wonderful life for 47 years.

Steven was a member of the Knights of Columbus, loved to travel and go on Family Vacations. He was a hard worker. He retired from the Post Office where he had worked for 20 years, but was most proud of retiring from the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. Steven loved spending time with his Grandkids very much.

Survived by: Son, Daniel Benedetti and wife Lauren of Arlington, Texas; Daughters, Janet Marberry and husband James of Aledo, Texas and Erica Bussey and husband Jason of Hamilton, Texas; Grandchildren, Darren Gary, Dalen Gary, Jacob and Kaitlyn (Abby Kate) Marberry, Jack, Allison, Mason and Graham Bussey; Brothers, Ray Benedetti and wife Chris and Joe Benedetti; Sister, Nancy Kendrick, Nephew Patrick Benedetti and lots of other family and cherished friends.

An Interment with Military Honors will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery. 200 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211
