Theresa Movelda Munday

April 28, 2025. She was born October 2, 1928 in

Bailey County to Jesse Nathanial Swopes and

Clara Jeanette (Netty) Selby Swopes.

She was preceded in death by her parents;

three brothers; her first husband, Howard

Payne Burks; her second husband, V.B. Munday;

and her son, Richard Dean (Dick) Burks.

Survivors include her daughter, Debra Recindus and husband Rick; sons James Dennis Burks and wife Lu and Donald Henry Burks and wife Carrie; daughter-in-law Renee Burks; stepdaughter Connie Sills and husband Dale; two sisters, Glenda Lundgren and Dola Smith; and 11 grandchildren, Marisa Leidenfrost, Julia Henry, Zac Burks, Sasha Davis, Payne Burks, Riley Tumlinson, Shawnee Wallace, Ryan Burks, Aaron Burks, Nola Hayes and Lillian Murray and their families, including 16 great-grandchildren and two on the way.
