Tim was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and after being on hospice care with VNA hospice in Dallas, Texas and
CCS hospice in Dublin, Texas, on July 21, 2015, he passed away.
Tim attended college and held multiple degrees. Tim studied law, was a registered nurse and worked as a research coordinator.
In 1988, Tim met Jerry G. Jones and they formed an amazing friendship which lasted 17 ½ years,
Jerry was Tim’s primary caregiver until Tim’s passing.
Tim’s bright blue eyes shined with warmth, love and kindness and he touched many lives. His kindness, generosity and giving continued until his final moments.
On December 16, 2014, Tim and Jerry were married.
Tim is survived by his spouse, Jerry Glenn Jones, of Hamilton, Texas and his two brothers: Rick Sumrall of Edmund, OK and Anthony Sumrall of San Jose, CA.
Tim was cremated, as he requested, by Riley Funeral Home in Hamilton, Texas.
