Tommy was born March 4, 1950 to Glyn Arvin Sullivan and Angeline Christine Sullivan. In 1952, Christine married Amos Bagwell, the man Tommy considered to be his dad.
Tommy spent time working for the United States Postal Service before finding his true calling as a lineman. Tommy married the love of his life, Shirley Sullivan on July 31, 2003. This is when Tommy said he got his family. Although they may have been “step”, there wasn’t such a thing in Tommy’s eyes. He loved passionately and was always a kid at heart. Tommy loved to watch football, play card games and eat anything sweet he could get his hands on.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Sullivan, two “step”children, Curtis Oxley and wife, Amber Cox, Mashell Thompson and husband, Mike Thompson as well as four “step” grandchildren, Caitlin Harbin, Hannah Harbin, CJ Oxley and Bethany Thompson.
Tommy was proceeded in death by parents Glenn Sullivan, Christine Sullivan and dad Amos Bagwell as well as two brothers, Tony Sullivan and David Sullivan.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 3 PM at the Carlton cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Hamilton Community Center PO Box 615 Hamilton, TX 76531.
