Tracie Mann, a devoted wife, mother, MeMaw, and strong-hearted woman, passed away on November 19, 2025, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Tracie was born on September 23, 1970, in Orlando, Florida, to Terry Weddle and Steve Miller. She lived her life with loyalty, passion, and a fierce love for the people she held close.
She met the love of her life, John Mann, and they were married on May 7, 1988. Their marriage was a true partnership rooted in love, loyalty, and friendship. They were not just husband and wife — they were best friends who stood side by side through every season of life. Everyone who knew them knew John would always take care of it — no matter what “it” was — and that whatever Tracie needed, Tracie got. He protected her, supported her, and adored her, and she loved him just as fiercely in return.
During John’s military service, they traveled to Germany, where they lived for three years and welcomed their only son, Michael Mann. After John completed his enlistment at Fort Hood in 1992, they settled in Evant, Texas, building a life and home together. In 2008, they welcomed their only daughter, Ashlee Mann, completing their family.
Tracie spent many years working in retail management and later in sanitation services, where she formed lifelong friendships and was known for her strong work ethic, honesty, and loyalty.
In 2021, Tracie began working with Companion Senior Care, where she became a trusted caregiver and mentor. Working alongside BreAnna Bullard and Christina Templeton, she helped shape the foundation and values of the company. Her steady presence, protective heart for her clients, and unwavering commitment to doing what was right made her deeply respected by families and coworkers alike. She loved her clients fiercely and treated them as her own. She worked until she physically could no longer breathe.
Tracie was diagnosed with lung cancer in April of 2025. Throughout her journey, she leaned into her love for God, her faith, and her belief in natural healing, becoming an advocate for homeopathic remedies. During this time, she formed a close bond with the ladies of Gypsy Greens Market in Hamilton, who became dear friends and a source of strength.
Above all, Tracie cherished her role as “MeMaw.” Her grandsons — Lucas, Foster, and Westin Mann — were the light of her life, and in her eyes, they could do no wrong. They always knew exactly where they stood with MeMaw — loved without limits and defended without hesitation.
Her relationship with her children was just as special. To Tracie, Michael could do no wrong… except for his senior prank of climbing the water tower in 2009, something she never let him live down. Ashlee played her own special role in Tracie’s heart and knew she could get away with
anything — especially because John would always give in. Tracie loved spending time watching Ashlee play softball and never missed a game. That same devotion carried into her life as MeMaw — she never missed her grandsons’ sporting events either, no matter how tired or how she was feeling.
Outside of work and family life, Tracie loved to travel, explore, and experience life alongside the people she loved. She was known for her fiery red hair, her strong will, her straightforward nature, and her unwavering heart.
She is survived by her beloved husband, John Mann; her son, Michael Mann and wife Kacie Mann; her daughter, Ashlee Mann; her grandsons, Lucas Mann, Foster Mann, and Westin Mann; her siblings, Kristen Satterly, Kevin and Brittany Miller, Kelcey Miller, and Kody and Amber Miller; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, including her lifelong best friend, Marie Mendez, and her special neighbors Bob and Denise Kupel, who meant more to her than just neighbors ever could.
Tracie will be deeply missed and forever remembered by the many lives she touched.
