Travis Hearol Cozby

Travis H. Cozby, age 84 of Burnet, Texas passed away on October 20, 2026. He was born in Hamilton, Texas on November 9, 1941, to Alton Pete and Reba Cozby. He attended school at Hamilton. He married the love of his life, Lola Kinsey of Evant, Texas. He worked as a new car salesman in Fort Worth and received numerous awards for top Salesman of the Year. Since working at his dealerships, he has owned his own companies for 42 years. He loved to go hunting, play golf and travel. His family was very important to him. He was a Baptist by faith.

Travis is preceded in death by his wife, Lola, his parents, Alton and

Reba and two brothers, Jerry and Danny Cozby.

He is survived by his two sons, Greg Cozby of Kempner and Mike Cozby and spouse, Gigi of Burnet. Travis leaves behind eight grandchildren: Travis Michael, Jerrod. Makenna, Morgan, Kinsey, Kiara, Carly and Kaylee all Cozby’s. His legacy also leaves five great granddaughters: Bella, Jaycee Ray, Rylee Sue, Chloe, Kinsley, all Cozby’s and one great grandson, Baker Najdiya. Nephews, Louis and WT, as well as sister-in-laws, Janie and Judy will miss him dearly.

Travis’s life has always been about family and that’s what made it wonderful. Travis and Lola, hope they will keep their faith, and we will all meet in heaven one day. Praise the Lord.

Visitation will be held at Riley Funeral Home Inc., 402 West Main, Hamilton, TX 76531, on October 31, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 pm.

A Committal Service will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, Hwy 281 N, Hamilton, TX 76531, on October 31, 2026 following the service.
