

Wesley was born on Monday, December 1, 1919, to Noah Leeota and Hallye Mabel Crosby Jones, in Lanham, Texas. Growing up in the area Wesley attended local schools and graduated from Hamilton High School in 1937. After High School Wesley entered the US Navy and served in Guam. After the Navy, Wesley attended SMU earning a Pastoral Degree. On Wednesday, January 1, 1941 Wesley married Norma Leeona Sellers Jones in Crawford TX.
Wesley was a member of the Lanham United Methodist Church and was active in the Jonesboro Lions Club, Fairy Masonic Lodge, Hamilton Order of the Eastern Star, Scottish Rite, Hamilton Ministerial Alliance, American Legion, P.T.A, United Care and Genealogy Museum in Hamilton. Mr. Jones enjoyed Reading, Baseball, Music and Coin Collecting.
Pastor Jones was preceded in death by his beloved wife Norma, his parents and brother Raymond Jones.
He is survived by his two sons Johnny Jones of Hamilton, TX and James Hal and wife Sheila Jones of Robison, TX: his two daughters Ruth Gray and husband Malcolm of Driftwood, TX and Marolyn and husband Steve of McGregor, TX; his grandchildren Anne Jones, Monica Opincar and husband John, Jim Jones and wife Shanna, Naylor Gray and wife Laura, Amelia Tyler and husband Chris, Brandon Jones and wife Fallon , Candis Carvey and husband Patrick, Colt Barber and Clint Barber; Wesley is also survived by nine great grandchildren and sister in law Joy Wilson.
