William R Massingill

William (Bill) Robert Massingill 84 of Hamilton Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior April 23, 2015. Visitation will be Sunday April 26, 2015 from 5 to5 and Services will be held Monday April 27,2015 at 3:00pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel. Bill was born May 1, 1931 to Simon Reeve Massingill and Bessie Lee Slaughter Massingill in Evant Texas. William served his country in the Air Force from July 8, 1948 in Fort Worth Texas. He was honorably discharged from the Air Force at Beale Air Force Base September 12, 1962 as a Sergeant. He then joined the Arizona Air National Guard April 1, 1963 and retired the Idaho Air National Guard on May 1, 1987 as a Senior Master Sergeant.

Bill is survived by his wife Faye children William Massingill and wife Valerie, Martha Coats, Leanna Brown and husband Norman, Roberta Taylor and husband Tom, and Debra Schuetz and husband Lynn, James Harvey, Billy Harvey, and Cynthia Tuerk, he also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
