Elsie Elaine (Farzati) Stynchula, 81, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026. A devoted mother and a steady source of kindness in the lives of many, she is survived by her sons, Jeffery and Jamey, and her daughter in law, Jennifer.
Elsie dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting others. She began her career teaching elementary school in Iowa, later continuing her love of education as a substitute teacher at St. Catherine’s Parish in Harrisburg. She went on to serve for 15 years as a paraeducator at Susquehanna High School, where her patience, warmth, and quiet strength touched countless students.
At home, Elsie found joy in cooking, baking, entertaining, and creating holidays that her family will forever remember. She had a generous heart and a natural instinct to help anyone in need. After retiring, she continued her lifelong commitment to service by volunteering with Meals on Wheels.
