Elwood R. Houser

He was the son of the late Erie C. and Lula G. (Hill) Houser. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Elaine E. Houser; and grandson, Derek Haines.

He is survived by 3 sons, Elwood Jr., Keith, Brian and wife Karin, 2 daughters, Yvonne Haines and husband Terry, Glenda Sheaffer and husband Brad; 8 grandchildren, 3 great granddaughters and one great great granddaughter.

Elwood proudly served in the military with the Air Force. He was an avid fan of the Phillies and Eagles.

His greatest joy was spending time with his family who he loved very much and will be missed by all who loved him.

Private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Private burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Carolyn’s House 1701 Linglestown Rd Harrisburg, Pa. 17110
