Dear Dave,
I recently learned of Justin's transition while in Harrisburg visiting family and friends. My heart aches for you and your family's unexpected loss. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Justin. You live on in the hearts, minds,and memories of all who loved and knew you.

I think I sent the last entry without putting my name (about working at PennDOT in the Retrieval Unit, and my memories of Justin), and without including my condolences to Justin's family.  It can be hard getting through the first year after losing a family member, but hopefully good memories will be remembered more strongly than the grief.

If my last entry is not selected to go in the on-line message book, I hope I can start over (this time with my name and the rest of the above).

I didn't know Justin very well, but he would always say hi to me in the halls of PennDOT.  He was a very nice guy!!!!
I will miss seeing him and his great smile!

A FEW YEARS BACK, I FOUND OUT THIS WAS ONE OF JUSTIN'S FAVORITE SONGS. IT WAS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES AS WELL. EVEN THOUGH JUSTINAND I WERE YEARS APARTIN AGE, THERE ARE THINGS SUCH AS MUSIC THAT TRANSCENDS THE GAP. Justin Im gonna miss you so much. I loved to talk with you about Syfy and FX shows. You got a kick out of the fact that me, 50 year old woman, would have so much in common with you. I also liked our work-son-work-mom conversations. I know we had and impact on each other. As a coworker you were exceptional. You knew those machines inside and out and you taught me well. My heart still aches. I will think of you often my dear sweet friend, one day without tears. My heart goes out to you David, Diane, Steven. I loved him with all my heart.

I personally didn't know Justin but i do know that him and my boyfriend Daniel Keys were closer than ever. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and friends at this hard time.
