Born on July 26, 1967, in Harrisburg, PA, Kimberly was the daughter of the late Milton Goodyear, Sr. and Shirley Laughlin. She was a 1985 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School.
Kimberly was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, and loyal friend. She was known for her contagious smile, infectious laugh, and the warmth she brought to every room she entered. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did, and some of her happiest moments were spent supporting her children in their activities and achievements.
For many years, Kim could be found poolside at swim meets, helping gather young swimmers and enthusiastically cheering on her daughter, Megan. She was equally passionate in the stands at water polo games, where her voice could always be heard encouraging on the players.
Kim developed a deep love for baseball through her son, Dylan, who played for several teams throughout the years. As one of his biggest supporters, she rarely missed a game and could always be found cheering proudly from the stands as he took the mound.
Some of Kim’s happiest moments were spent at home with her husband of 28 years, Jon, and their beloved pets. She treasured the simple joys of life—watching movies with Jon, especially scary movies, relaxing with their two German Shepherds and four cats, and enjoying the comfort of being surrounded by those she loved most. Family and friends knew her as the family’s night owl, always finding comfort in the quiet hours spent at home.
Kimberly dedicated more than 30 years of her professional life to banking. She started her career at Wachovia Bank and later accepted a management position with M&T Bank. Throughout her career, she was known not only for her strong leadership and professionalism, but also for the meaningful relationships she built with both coworkers and customers alike.
Above all else, Kim will be remembered for her kindness, unwavering love for her family, her sense of humor, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Kimberly is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, Jon Crow (Mechanicsburg, PA); her daughter, Megan Crow, and Megan’s fiancé, Trevor Omslaer (Hummelstown, PA); her son, Dylan Crow (Mechanicsburg, PA); her two sisters, Lynda Goodyear (Harrisburg, PA) and Pam Goodyear (Lebanon, PA); her brother, Michael Goodyear (Biglerville, PA); and many extended family members and dear friends. In lieu of flowers Kim would have loved donations be made to Speranza Animal Rescue.
