Born on August 16, 1948, in Canon City, Colorado, to the late Elizabeth (Mangino) and Daniel Wilson. He is preceded in death by his sister Cheryl Benkovic.
Surviving Larry is his loving wife of 55 years, Deborah (Sheffer) Wilson; and his daughters, Alysha J. (Colin) McKinney and Rachel (Andrew Parker) Wilson.
Larry was an animal lover and had a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed sports and volunteering with the special olympics. He was also a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.
The family is planning private services at this time. They ask in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the special olympics or to the church.
